Nutrition and Acupuncture for Cancer and Chemotherapy, with Dr. Steven Chaney
Thursday June 5th, 7pm at our clinic in Chapel Hill
In this free lecture we’ll discuss how patients undergoing traditional cancer treatments can use nutrition, supplements and acupuncture to help support them. Led by professor of biochemistry Steven Chaney and licensed acupuncturist Tory Wegner, the lecture will provide valuable information on healthy food choices for cancer, answers to questions about supplements and how a combination of acupuncture and healthy nutrition can help combat uncomfortable symptoms and side effects from chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
New Duke Fertility Center Acupuncture and Stress Reduction Program
The Duke Fertility Center in conjunction with Triangle Acupuncture Clinic will be offering an Acupuncture for Stress Reduction Program at their office beginning in March. Patients of the Duke Fertility Center will be able to see Katherine Rowe or Julie Hutsell for appointments on site and they will be available every day for embryo transfer treatments.
