About Us
Triangle Acupuncture Clinic in Raleigh and Chapel Hill is dedicated to providing excellent healthcare to the Triangle community. Although it was never our goal to become a big clinic, we realized over the years that it makes our work-life more enjoyable to practice with a great team of experienced practitioners. All of our acupuncturists have been practicing for well over a decade (for some of us well into 20 years!) and have found a home at TAC where we can treat patients with the same emphasis on kindness and respect. We each cultivate our own passions and skills but we are a comfortable team in that we love learning and collaborating with each other. It makes us all better to have each other around!
While all of our acupuncturists have been trained as general practitioners, each has their own unique specialty. You can click on the practitioners’ names to the left to learn more about their training, their practice and the treatments they offer.
How Does Someone Become an Acupuncturist?
Each practitioner in our clinic has an undergraduate college degree and then attended a four-year graduate school program in Traditional Chinese medicine. Their medical education included extensive training in Chinese medical theory and diagnosis, acupuncture, herbal medicine, western medical theory and diagnosis, as well as massage and qi gong. The clinical training took place in a busy outpatient setting under the supervision of doctors of both Chinese and Western medicine.
The acupuncturists at Triangle Acupuncture Clinic in Chapel Hill and Raleigh are devoted to integrating the use of Chinese medicine with the more mainstream western care most people receive. They are proud to be a part of the established professional medical community in this region of North Carolina.
Triangle Acupuncture has made a tremendous difference in my life. When I started my treatments I was in pain just walking across a room. Now I am feeling much better. I can travel again, walk the mall, do the flea market and the farmers market. I am forever grateful for their time, talent and personal care.
