Jahna Sturges, LAc
Jahna Sturges, LAc, graduated from Five Branches University in 2001 with her master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Upon graduation, she obtained her NCCAOM certification, and CA and NC state licenses. She has worked as a practitioner in a variety of settings including rehabilitation centers, hospice, private and group practices and in 2007 co-founded a 501(c)(3) called Helios Warriors which provides holistic healing therapies to veterans, their caregivers and families.
In practice, Jahna treats general health concerns with special areas of interest including women’s health (from menarche to menopause), allergies, psycho-emotional health, pain management and cosmetic acupuncture. She tailors each treatment by pairing gentle needling technique with adjunct therapies including cupping, gua sha, moxibustion and herbal medicine to facilitate your body’s return to balance. Her approach to treatment includes an emphasis on patient education, encouraging them to actively participate in their healing process. She holds a strong commitment to the integration of Eastern and Western medical models within our healthcare system and meets people where they’re at on their healing journey, striving to create a space where comprehensive care meets compassion.
